  • 500 grams boneless chicken, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, ginger paste, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to make a marinade.

  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss until the chicken is well coated. Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  4. Heat the vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet or grill pan over medium heat.

  5. Add the marinated chicken cubes to the hot skillet, reserving the remaining marinade. Cook the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly browned.

  6. Pour the remaining marinade over the chicken in the skillet and mix well.

  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.

  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

  9. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
